Dr. Angela VanDerwerken is an economist with RPC providing expert testimony, economic analysis, affidavits, and expert reports on economic damages in personal injury, wrongful death, wrongful termination, and commercial litigation cases.
Dr. VanDerwerken provides testimony on loss of earning capacity, loss of support, loss of household services, loss of back and front pay, the present value of life care plans, and the reasonable charge and reasonable value of past and future medical services. She analyzes reasonable payments in healthcare billing disputes and determines lost profits and other business damages in commercial litigation.
She has over a decade of experience as a forensic economist and worked in the division of labor statistics an economist for New York State. Her doctoral specializations include expertise in econometrics, labor, and health economics. She has taught economics and statistics at the graduate and undergraduate levels, including courses at the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business and at New York University (NYU). Dr. VanDerwerken currently serves on the National Association of Forensic Economics (NAFE) committee as the Vice President At-Large.
