Jamie Myers is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant with over a decade of experience in clinical nursing and another decade of experience in litigation support. Jamie examines and interprets medical records, analyzes medical bills, and summarizes complex medical literature in personal injury and healthcare cases for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Prior to joining RPC, Jamie served as a Senior Professional Liability Nurse Consultant and Team Lead for a major insurer, where she consulted on personal injury, professional liability and medical issues in litigation for healthcare, environmental and toxic torts, and employment law.
Jamie’s clinical background includes extensive experience in acute care, high-risk labor and delivery, and perinatal education. She has authored hospital policies, developed a perinatal bereavement program, and served as a clinical nurse educator. In addition, she has published on medical-legal topics and presented on litigation in obstetrics at the Louisiana Attorneys General Annual Conference.
