Theresa Comer is a Registered Nurse and Certified Legal Nurse Consultant with RPC. She has more than 20 years of experience in clinical nursing and litigation support. Theresa examines and interprets medical records, analyzes medical bills, and summarizes complex medical literature in personal injury and healthcare cases for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Before joining RPC, she worked for many years as a legal nurse consultant for law firms and medical research organizations, providing litigation support in high-volume and complex matters—including class action suits, medical malpractice, and toxic tort cases.
In addition to her legal consulting expertise, Ms. Comer brings over two decades of clinical nursing experience in neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, pediatric bone marrow transplant, pediatric hematology/oncology, and children’s emergency medicine at leading institutions such as Texas Children’s Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Hermann Children’s Hospital.
