Dr. Sager is a consulting statistician and contributes his expertise to RPC projects including calculation of damages in medical fee disputes. He is a Professor of Information, Risk and Operations Management at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and is the former co-director of its Center for Statistical Sciences. He has over 23 years of experience providing expert testimony and has been accepted as an expert in statistics in seven different Federal District Courts, three different State District Courts, one Food and Drug Administration review board for clinical trials, and numerous arbitration hearings.
